Fort Bend Performing Arts Series Presents

Phillips, Craig & Dean

Fort Bend Performing Arts Series is pleased to present Phillips, Craig & Dean in concert on Friday, September 29, 2006 at 8:00 p.m.  Randy Phillips, Shawn Craig and Dan Dean have been working hard since 1991, turning up regularly to prove themselves faithful through a musical ministry that has won them scores of faithful fans—not to mention 18 No. 1 singles, several Dove Award nominations and sales near the 2 million mark. Known for their ability to write songs the church loves to sing, this trio brings an experience and maturity to today’s modern worship movement.

While Phillips, Craig & Dean have proven themselves consistent through the years, there is also much that’s new in the life of this timeless group.  There’s also a freshness these days to their sound, it’s decidedly more upbeat while at the same time inviting those who hear it to enter into worship along with them.

There's a good reason why Randy Phillips, Shawn Craig, and Dan Dean have amassed fans in the Contemporary Christian Music market. With their tight, three-part, Rascal Flatts harmonies and their signature key-upshift crescendos, the trio consistently delivers music that takes the airwaves by storm and insinuates itself into worship services around the world almost as quickly as the radio can introduce the songs.

The newest Phillips, Craig & Dean album, Top of My Lungs is just the latest in a growing discography of successes, leaning even more toward worship music than prior releases. "We'd toyed with the idea of doing a hybrid," says Shawn Craig. "More of the signature ballads and fun songs we used to record. But the more we dug into it, the more we found ourselves going back to praise and worship."

Fort Bend Performing Arts Series is pleased to present Phillips, Craig & Dean in concert on September 29, 2006 at 8:00 p.m. The concert is in the auditorium of Williams Trace Baptist Church located at 16755 Southwest Freeway, Sugar Land, Texas. Tickets are $20 and all seats are reserved.  Tickets can be purchased online at www.fbpas.org or by calling Suzan Dortch at 281-275-6527.
